We are talking about a municipality that is formed by independent nuclei, although not too distant. Specifically, Vall de Laguart is formed by the neighbourhoods and districts of Benimaurell, Campell, Fleix and Fontilles.
Clearly, the attraction of the place is given by the mountain area, and specifically the one known as Barranco del Infierno (Hell’s Ravine) that attracts a lot of people who are fond of walking routes, trekking, potholing (the name of the village means caves, in Arabic), or climbing. Very interesting is a circular route around the ravine that is known as the Cathedral of Hiking.
This whole area is the one that usually appears in tourist guides as the perfect complement for those who want to combine in their visit to Alicante, the sea with inland tourism, especially that related to natural areas and walking routes.
