The summer has already begun a few days ago with a general rise in temperatures. Many of us are already looking forward to going down to the beach and enjoying the sea, although some have already done so. Especially the people who already live here.<\/p>\n

There are only a few days left for people to be able to travel again and we are starting to make tousands of plans on how to spend the best summer of our lives. The ideal picture is lying on the beach, enjoying the sun, sand and sea water. Meanwhile the coastal towns are preparing as best they can for our arrival.<\/p>\n

The Valencian Community is one of the most important sun and beach tourist destinations in the world. Tourists come to these beaches from all over the world, mainly by plane. The most important gateways are Alicante and Valencia airports.<\/p>\n

What are blue flags?<\/h2>\n

Blue Flags<\/strong> are awards given to beaches and ports that meet various environmental conditions and certain facilities. It is issued by the European Foundation for Environmental Education<\/a> and dates back to 1987.<\/p>\n

What is required to obtain a Blue Flag?<\/h2>\n

Of course there are many criteria for a beach to be awarded a Blue Flag<\/strong>, being divided into 4 main blocks<\/p>\n
